Color Correction Color correction in Photoshop is an essential skill for any designer preparing high-profile images for publication. Even the best photographers take photos that are plagued by problems such as color casts, unnatural and uneven tones, dull highlights, murky shadows, or low contrast. Color correction is the most scientific, systematic approach to correcting those issues and getting the most out of your images.
This course covers every aspect of color correction. Topics include managing color setting and profiles, using Levels histograms and the Curves command, making target-based corrections, and preparing images for print using on-screen proofing and CMYK conversion. Students evaluate and correct dozens of images learning how to identify classic color issues and quickly correct them.
