The Portfolio-Builder Series at DesignMentor Training are carefully selected groupings of professionally-mentored design classes geared toward professional design careers. They are appropriate for designers who already have fundamental skills, or skills in a different area of design, but wish to formalize their training and gain an edge in landing a job or freelance gig in one of the following four areas of design: Flash, Digital Photography, E-Commerce, and Corporate Identity Design.

- Professional Mentoring: Each of the three classes within every Portfolio-Builder Series program includes a professional design instructor thatwho delivers mentoring and critiques for the entirety of the class. Our one-on-one feedback and informed guidance from design professionals is what sets DesignMentor apart from both online and traditional training providers available.
- Portfolio-quality Projects: Each Program within the Portfolio-Builder Series includes three classes and a total of 18 projects that are designed to help students build a very strong portfolio of work.
- Certificate of Completion: While your portfolio projects and your instructor relationships are the real value and benefit of the Portfolio-Builder Series, we also recognize the importance of a formal recognition of your accomplishment. Each Portfolio-Builder Series is awarded with a Certificate of Completion that holds the respect of the design and education industries.
- Flexible Scheduling: Upon enrollment in a Portfolio-Builder Series you will receive immediate access to all three classes and may begin each of them at your leisure. There are no specific start dates...start when you like. Once you have enrolled you will have six months of access to complete your classes. The average student will spend approximately 90 hours of design time on the 18 projects included in each Portfolio-Builder Series. How much time you invest is up to you. (about 5 hours per project on average)
