Brand Managers conceptualize, produce and enforce
the visual identity for a brand or product. A Brand
Manager must preserve consistency while ensuring that
all branded materials express the most effective and
recognizable company message. Often Brand Managers are
required to know how to create catalogs, brochures,
and other direct mail pieces from start to finish. Knowledge
of a page layout program such as QuarkXpress, InDesign,
or Pagemaker is usually required, while proficiency
in PowerPoint, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is extremely
beneficial. Brand Managers should possess proven presentation,
communication and marketing skills, as well as creativity.
In some cases a Brand Manager's job responsibilities
may include overseeing teams of creatives or conducting
product evaluation tests. |
