Digital Imaging Specialists are also known as Modern Day Darkroom Assistants. These individuals know how to correct color balance, set shadows, and Àclean-up” an image at the professional photographic level within the digital environment. Digital Imaging Specialists are often required to know a great deal about cameras, scanners, and other digital photography equipment. They should also possess digital illustration skills, creative problem solving skills, and an acute eye for color, tonal levels, and graphic composition. Working knowledge of Photography, studio lighting and grip work is highly beneficial. Strong Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Skills are usually imperative.
